Welcome and introduction
Hi there, my name is Tom Poland and over the last 15 years I’ve spoken at over 1,000 events and almost all of them were for audiences of self-employed, professional practitioners or business owners so I am not exactly new to the business of showing solopreneurs and entrepreneurs how to create a new business explosion by using strategy to “work smarter and not harder”.
My talks are ALWAYS vibrant, passionate, motivating and engaging.
More importantly, I give real life client examples every step of the way which means that your audience walks away with a multitude of client-attracting ideas that they can put into practice as soon as they return to their business.

“How To Use Marketing Strategy In Your Small Business To Attract New Clients”
Without you having to work harder or cold call and even if you hate selling
- Many business owners find themselves in a dilemma. On the one hand they often want and need more clients but on the other hand they hate the idea of having to cold call or sell
- In this talk I reveal my universally applicable marketing strategy that shows each business owner how to attract new clients almost every week of the year without having to work harder or longer and without having to cold call or having to go out and try and sell disinterested prospects
- I begin with the story of my first business failure at age 24 and how I overcame that disaster when I discovered the difference between a “Business Plan” and a “Business Model”
- I also reveal four major mistakes the business owners make when trying to get new clients and show attendees how they can avoid mistakes and then I go on to share six key elements that attendees can use to build their own Business Model including specific examples and case studies for attracting new clients on a systematic and consistent basis
- I also allows time for a question and answer session at the end of each talk

Here’s a little more about me
- Tom Poland is a serial entrepreneur who has started 5 very different businesses and the first of them he launched when he was 24 and that one almost sent him broke.
- He learnt a lot from that experience and went on to start and then sell 4 successive businesses including two which he took international.
- During those rather formative years from age 24 through 40 he discovered that creating a business that was worth a lot of money was a process that could be replicated and repeated across almost any industry.
- At last count Tom’s process has helped 1,476 people across 173 different industries and 4 continents to grow their business and many have used his process to go on and sell their business for millions.
- He has been published in 27 countries and his latest book has just been published in it’s second edition in the USA, Canada, Europe, UK and Australia.

- Key note address South East Queensland 45 – 90 minutes AU$3,900
- Key note address, rest of Australia 45 – 90 minutes AU$4,900+GST
- Key note plus workshop: AU$6,900+GST
- Plus (outside of SEQ) reasonable travel, meal and accommodation costs
- International assignments attract a travel fee plus business class air fares, transfers, meal and accommodation costs
What does the fee includes (in addition to the presentation)
- Original workbook incorporating all slides from the presentation is provided to the organizer for copying and distribution to attendees
- Question and answer session if requested
- Networking with attendees immediately after the event
- By arrangement attendees may be offered a range of free and paid business building resources
